Edward Gross, August 31, 1925- April 21, 2010

Go In Peace, you tough old bastard.
They don't make 'em like you anymore, and maybe that's just as well, but to me you were a Legendary Man's Man who made it through the world when it was much rougher for most folks, and in the final tally you did most of it with an ax and a gun and a sack of peaches handy.
You'll be missed by many and remembered strangely, often with laughter, and maybe none can leave any better thing.

"Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.”

“There are people who strictly deprive themselves of each and every eatable, drinkable, and smokable which has in any way acquired a shady reputation. They pay this price for health. And health is all they get for it. How strange it is. It is like paying out your whole fortune for a cow that has gone dry." -
-Mark Twain

Primarily I'm a meat man, although once in a while I toy with a few vegetables.
-Nat King Cole

- Sri Sathya Sai Baba

“I have known many meat eaters to be far more nonviolent than vegetarians.”

- Mahatma Gandhi
